A legally valid Indian will, drafted by an in-house NOS lawyer who actually talks to you first — not a template. In one session, the lawyer walks through your family, assets and wishes and drafts your will from that conversation. You leave with the drafted will within 5 business days, a signing guide for the mandatory two-witness execution, and 30 days to ask follow-up questions as you finalise it.
Understand the service
What we can help with
Will Drafting is a paid, time-boxed session with an in-house NOS lawyer to draft a will valid under Indian law — covering your assets in India, who inherits them, who administers your estate, and who cares for your minor children if you have any. You describe your situation, choose a tier, pick a slot in your own timezone and pay a flat fee. Nothing is billed by the hour, and no lawyer time is committed until payment is captured.
Three tiers, one flat fee each. Simple for a single beneficiary with India-only assets and no guardian, trust or business; Standard for multiple beneficiaries and/or a guardian for minor children; and Complex for a business interest, a maintenance trust, assets outside India, or a flagged capacity consideration. Your intake produces a recommendation — you can move up freely, or down with a warning. Excluding an heir or a Muslim one-third consideration doesn't push you into a higher tier — it just means the lawyer documents your reasons with extra care.
What you get. The drafted will itself within 5 business days of the session — your identification, revocation of any prior will, the executor and guardian you've named, and the clauses distributing your estate — plus a signing guide covering the mandatory two-witness requirement, page-initialling, and notes for signing abroad if you're an NRI. You also get 30 days to ask the same lawyer follow-up questions as you get ready to sign. If you later want the will registered or held in safe custody, your session fee is credited against that case.
What it isn't. This is one drafting session, not an open-ended editing service — substantial changes after the follow-up window (a new beneficiary, a different estate) are best handled as a fresh will rather than an edit to a signed one. We also don't register the will, hold it in custody, or represent you in any probate or succession proceeding — those are separate services. If you're under 18, or your request is really about estate or tax structuring rather than a will, we'll say so and point you to the right place, refunding you in full.
How it works on the ground
The government process is scattered across portals, offices and paperwork. NOS turns it into one guided flow.
The reality on the ground
Getting a will drafted correctly
A downloaded template rarely accounts for your actual family situation, personal law, or assets across borders.
Nobody explains upfront that a beneficiary who acts as a witness can void their own bequest.
If you want to leave an unequal share to your children, or exclude an heir, it's not obvious how to make that hold up.
From abroad, whether a will signed outside India is even valid, and what 'notarised' actually buys you, is genuinely unclear.
The NOS way
One session, a drafted will, and a guide to signing it correctly
01Tell us about your life
A short intake covering your family, your assets, and how you want to distribute them.
02Conflict & eligibility checks
Every matter is screened before a slot is confirmed — you confirm you're 18+ and making the will freely.
03A tier matched to your matter
Complexity scoring maps you to the right tier. A business, a trust, cross-border assets, or a capacity flag routes you to a senior lawyer.
04A slot in your timezone
Slots render in your local time, filtered to lawyers who speak your language.
05The session, on your channel
Video, voice, or WhatsApp voice if the line drops — with the lawyer who owns your matter.
06A will you can sign, and a guide for doing it right
The drafted will itself, plus the exact two-witness signing choreography — and 30 days of follow-up with the same lawyer.

The actual drafted will
Not just advice — your will, drafted from the session, delivered within 5 business days.
An unequal split doesn't cost more
Excluding an heir or a Muslim one-third consideration doesn't change your fee — the memo just documents your reasons carefully.
Senior review where it matters
A business interest, a trust, cross-border assets, or a flagged capacity concern is automatically routed to a senior lawyer.
What we handle
How it works
- 01Step 1
Tell us about your family & assets
Your personal details, family situation, assets and how you'd like to distribute them — a short intake, about five minutes.
- 02Step 2
We screen the matter
A conflict-of-interest check runs before anything is booked. You'll also confirm you're 18 or older and making the will freely — a will can only be made by someone with legal capacity to do so.
- 03Step 3
Choose your tier & slot
Your answers produce a complexity score and a recommended tier. A business interest, a trust, assets outside India, or a flagged capacity consideration routes you to a senior lawyer. Then pick a slot in your own timezone with a lawyer who speaks your language.
- 04Step 4
Pay — and your lawyer is assigned
Sessions are pay-first at a flat fee for the tier. The slot is held and one lawyer becomes the owner of your matter only once payment is captured.
- 05Step 5
Your session
The lawyer walks through your family, assets and wishes, and drafts your will based on the conversation — by video, voice, or WhatsApp voice if the connection is poor.
- 06Step 6
Your drafted will & signing guide
DeliveredWithin 5 business days of the session you receive the drafted will itself, plus a signing guide covering the mandatory two-witness requirement — and 30 days to ask the same lawyer follow-up questions as you finalise it.
What you'll typically need
- A photo ID (passport, Aadhaar, or PAN) matching the name you'll use in the will
- A description of your assets and where each is located
- Who you want to leave your estate to, and in what shares
- Your executor's name, and a guardian's name if you have children under 18
- Whether you have an existing will already
- Whether there's an existing case or lawyer, and the other party's name (for the conflict check)
The photo ID is mandatory and requested once your session is booked — the session can't start without it.
Made for NRIs. Slots are shown in your local time and matched to a lawyer who speaks your language. The fee is charged in INR and displayed in USD or AED so you always know what you're paying. A will signed abroad is valid in India as long as the two-witness signing requirement is met — your signing guide covers this. If the video drops, the session falls back to voice and then to WhatsApp — no rebooking, no trip home.
Ready to put your wishes in writing?
The intake takes about five minutes. You'll see the flat fee for your tier before you pay, and nothing is booked until payment is captured.
