Nativity Certificate
Certify your place of origin — for education, employment and local eligibility. A nativity certificate establishes your native place, often required alongside domicile for admissions, jobs and scheme eligibility. Inconsistent records cause rejection. NOS gathers the supporting proof and secures the certificate from the revenue authority.
Understand the service
What we can help with
A Nativity Certificate is issued by the Tahsildar / MRO (Revenue). In Telangana it is issued to SC / ST / BC communities (Form I-B for ST, Form II-B for SC/BC via MeeSeva); General (OC) applicants receive a Residence Certificate instead. In Andhra Pradesh the Integrated Certificate (Caste + Nativity + Date of Birth) covers all categories. A clean, born-in-state claim with a parent's community certificate and documents in hand is straightforward and fixed-price. Others take more work: a residence-based or family-origin claim, a missing community certificate, an inter-state migration, a correction or a lost-certificate reissue, or an NRI applicant. Conflicting records, disputed claims, prior rejections, Native-Place (Collector-level, for OCI) and court-directed matters are handled by an expert; if a mandatory requirement can't be met, we'll say so. Government fees are passed through at cost. Nativity vs Residence / Domicile. A Nativity Certificate proves origin (where your family is from); a Residence / Domicile Certificate proves current residence. For EAMCET / local-candidate quotas, study certificates or a Residence Certificate are usually what's required — not a Nativity Certificate. Not sure which you need? Pick “help me identify the service” and we'll confirm.

What we handle
How it works
- 01Step 1
Tell us what you need
A short questionnaire — the purpose (OCI, scholarship, reservation…), your community category, birthplace and family origin. A clean, born-in-state claim with a parent's community certificate is quick and fixed-price.
- 02Step 2
Case Manager assigned
A dedicated Case Manager is assigned and you can message them before you pay. Residence-based claims, missing community certificates, disputes and Collector-level cases get a clear plan and price first.
- 03Step 3
We handle the offices
We prepare and verify the documents, file with the Tahsildar / MRO via MeeSeva (Form I-B / II-B) or the AP Integrated Certificate route, coordinate the VRO field inquiry, and follow it through — acting through a Power of Attorney for NRIs.
- 04Step 4
Issued & tracked
DeliveredYour certificate is issued (digitally signed with a QR code, permanent validity), tracked in your dashboard, and — where it's for overseas use — we can coordinate MEA attestation or apostille.
What you'll typically need
- The purpose (OCI / origin proof, scholarship, reservation, ration card, etc.) and your community category
- Aadhaar and, if available, a parent's community / nativity certificate
- Birth / SSC record and native village / mandal / district details
- Whether you're an NRI or foreign national (this changes the filing route)
Don't have everything to hand? That's alright. Share what you can — your Case Manager will tell you exactly what's needed and which route fits.
Made for NRIs. No trips home. No local runaround. No language barrier. Manage the entire process from your phone, in your own timezone — while NOS handles the counters, the paperwork and the follow-ups.
