A legally correct Indian affidavit, drafted by an in-house NOS lawyer who actually talks to you first — not a generic download. In one quick session, the lawyer confirms your purpose and facts and drafts your affidavit from that conversation. You leave with the drafted affidavit, an execution guide covering the correct stamp-paper value and how to swear it, and 14 days to ask follow-up questions.

What we can help with

Affidavit Support is a paid, time-boxed session with an in-house NOS lawyer to draft a legally correct affidavit — a written statement of facts confirmed on oath, for use as evidence before an authority. You describe the purpose and the facts to be sworn, choose a tier, pick a slot in your own timezone and pay a flat, low fee. Nothing is billed by the hour, and no lawyer time is committed until payment is captured.

Three tiers, one flat fee each. Simple for a single-purpose standard affidavit (name change, address proof, single-status, self-declaration); Standard for a custom or multi-fact statement set; and Complex for a legal declaration tied to litigation or a property-title dispute, which gets mandatory senior review.

What you get. The drafted affidavit itself — the preamble, your facts stated on oath, and the verification/jurat clause — plus an execution guide covering the correct stamp-paper value for your state and purpose, and the exact steps to swear it before a notary (or an oath commissioner / executive magistrate for court use). You also get 14 days to ask the same lawyer follow-up questions. A minor or person under disability can be served through a guardian who swears on their behalf. If you're abroad and need this before an Indian authority, your session fee is credited against a follow-on consular-attestation case if you need one.

What it isn't. The affidavit is self-executed— you print it and swear it yourself; we draft it, we don't administer the oath. If it's tied to a pending court matter, we draft the factual content but recommend it be filed by the advocate handling that matter. And if what you actually need is a different document — a Power of Attorney, a deed, or a will — we'll say so and point you to the right service, refunding you in full.

How it works on the ground

The government process is scattered across portals, offices and paperwork. NOS turns it into one guided flow.

The reality on the ground

Getting an affidavit drafted correctly

4 hurdles

A downloaded template rarely matches the exact wording an authority expects for your purpose.

Nobody explains which stamp-paper value applies, or that it varies by state and purpose.

A typist's-shop draft doesn't warn you that a false statement on oath carries real legal exposure.

If your affidavit is actually tied to a court case, filing it yourself instead of through your advocate can cause problems.

The NOS way

One quick session, a drafted affidavit, and a guide to swearing it correctly

6 steps · one flow
  1. 01Tell us the purpose

A short intake covering your details, the purpose, and the facts to be sworn.

  2. 02Conflict & oath checks

Every matter is screened before a slot is confirmed — you confirm the facts are true and that you understand the oath.

  3. 03A tier matched to your matter

Complexity scoring maps you to the right tier. A litigation or property-title-linked affidavit routes you to a senior lawyer.

  4. 04A slot in your timezone

Slots render in your local time, filtered to lawyers who speak your language.

  5. 05The session, on your channel

Video, voice, or WhatsApp voice if the line drops — with the lawyer who owns your matter.

  6. 06An affidavit you can swear, and a guide for doing it right

The drafted affidavit itself, plus the correct stamp value and swearing steps — and 14 days of follow-up with the same lawyer.

The actual drafted affidavit

Not just advice — your affidavit, drafted from the session, and fast: this is the quickest, lowest-fee service in the vertical.

We're upfront about the oath

An affidavit is sworn on oath, and a false statement carries real consequences — we make sure you know that before we draft.

Senior review where it matters

An affidavit tied to a court case or property-title declaration is automatically routed to a senior lawyer, with guidance on filing it through your own advocate.

What we handle

You need a name-change, address-proof, or single-status affidavit for an official process You've lost a document and need an affidavit to explain it for a replacement You need a no-objection or self-declaration affidavit for a bank, employer, or authority Your name or date of birth doesn't match across documents and you need a correction affidavit You're an NRI who needs an India-facing affidavit without travelling A minor or person under disability needs an affidavit sworn by a guardian on their behalf

How it works

  1. 01
    Step 1

    Tell us what it's for

Your details, the affidavit's purpose, and the facts to be sworn — a short intake, about five minutes.

  2. 02
    Step 2

    We screen the matter

A conflict-of-interest check runs before anything is booked. You'll also confirm the facts are true to your knowledge and that you understand an affidavit is sworn on oath.

  3. 03
    Step 3

    Choose your tier & slot

Your answers produce a complexity score and a recommended tier. An affidavit tied to a court case or property-title declaration routes you to a senior lawyer. Then pick a slot in your own timezone with a lawyer who speaks your language.

  4. 04
    Step 4

Pay — and your lawyer is assigned

Sessions are pay-first at a flat, low fee for the tier. The slot is held and one lawyer becomes the owner of your matter only once payment is captured.

  5. 05
    Step 5

    Your session

The lawyer confirms your purpose and facts and drafts your affidavit based on the conversation — by video, voice, or WhatsApp voice if the connection is poor.

  6. 06
    Step 6

Your drafted affidavit & execution guide

    Delivered

You receive the drafted affidavit itself, plus an execution guide covering the correct stamp-paper value and how to swear it before a notary or oath commissioner — and 14 days to ask the same lawyer follow-up questions.

What you'll typically need

  • A photo ID (passport, Aadhaar, or PAN) for you — or the guardian, if this is sworn on behalf of a minor
  • What the affidavit is for, and which authority it's going to
  • The facts you want stated on oath
  • Old and new particulars, if this is a name or date-of-birth correction
  • Whether there's an existing case or lawyer, and the other party's name (for the conflict check)

A photo ID for you (or your guardian) is mandatory and requested once your session is booked — the session can't start without it.

Made for NRIs. Slots are shown in your local time and matched to a lawyer who speaks your language. The fee is charged in INR and displayed in USD or AED so you always know what you're paying. If you're abroad and need this before an Indian authority, your execution guide covers consular attestation and the local-notary-plus-apostille alternative. If the video drops, the session falls back to voice and then to WhatsApp — no rebooking, no trip home.
